Your responsibilities
SunRoof is one of the fastest-growing hardware-enabled software start-up within the clean energy space, looking for a COO. Reporting to the CEO and the Board, you will be a key member of the global senior management team and will play an important role in taking the business to its next level of growth, whilst managing and growing the operations function.
• You will be responsible for both the operational and strategic aspects of the company’s and you will also be expected to:
o Work with the CEO and Board on developing the strategic, operations and business plan whilst identifying opportunities and risks to the plan as well as participate in company-wide strategic reviews
o Focus on the ramp up and successful implementation and management of processes and teams in constructions, logistics, and supply chain across EU.
o Complement the leadership team to be a strategic business partner to C-Level and the extended leadership team
o Taking responsibility to develop and implement processes across teams and contries to make the business more efficient, scalable and profitable,.
o Take primary responsibility for establishing, assembling, and approving all operations business plans and sets business direction, develop, implement and oversee operational models to meet the needs and business requirements country by country
In this role you will:
- Build high performance team and achieve superior results combining performance with peer wellbeing, diversity and inclusion
- Create, manage and improve processes
- Manage Operations teams across several countries, to efficiently build projects on time
- Be responsible for reaching profit target.
- Constantly Manage the Improvement Process.
- Participate in fundraising
- Participate in M&As
- Work with internal IT department to build and implement efficient internal IT
You will take a key role in growing the company from a 20-40 million EUR range to 100-150 million EUR in a couple of years
Our requirements
- 10 years of experience at COO function with relevant industry experience, preferably in Real Estate Construction, IT Hardware, Prefab House Manufacturing or Construction sectors in fast growing organization
- Experience in developing and executing business growth strategies, setting objectives and working with team leads to set priorities, goals and plans
- Excellent leadership skills with a strong ability to motivate team leaders and staff
- Strong problem-solving skills and holistic thinking
- Entrepreneurial approach
- Mobility to occasionally travel, experience in managing a global company structure with subsidiaries especially in Europe and the US
- Fluency in English on top of additional European languages
- Communication skills across different countries and cultures
- Master's degree in economics or Construction, Finance. MBA preferred but not required
