    Global Compensation & Benefits Solutions Director
    Location: Łódź

    We are searching for an experienced Compensation & Benefits practitioner with extensive knowledge of Compensation & Benefits to apply it globally. This position will act as a consultant and partner to regional HR, senior and line managers to develop programmes which are market aligned, reward high performance and attract the best talent in a fast changing environment for McCormick.

    In line with global Total Rewards philosophy and regional HR strategies, this role ensures the development and implementation of regional rewards strategies, guidelines, processes and systems, to ensure an optimal return on reward in the region.

    Ultimately this position is responsible for providing long term competitive advantage to the business in terms of attraction, engagement and retention of the best talent, through leading edge compensation and benefit programs.

    In addition this role will also act as the Compensation & Benefits regional lead for the development of global compensation processes and benefits plan design.

    Alongside business partnering to HR and Leadership teams, this role will also require strong influencing skills to enable faster decision making and effective delivery through our Compensation & Benefits shared services environment.

    You can also look forward to projects such as identifying of global and regional market trends and developing proposals to ensure that the organisation remains competitive.

     

    SCOPE OF THE ROLE

     

    Reporting to the Global H2R Delivery Lead, the Global Compensation & Benefits Solutions Director will act as a consultant and partner to regional HR, senior and line managers to develop programmes which are market aligned, reward high performance and attract the best talent in a fast changing environment for McCormick. In line with global Total Rewards philosophy and regional HR strategies, this role ensures the development and implementation of regional rewards strategies, guidelines, processes and systems, to ensure an optimal return on reward in the region.

     

    Leading a team of over 20 quality professionals the role is responsible for providing long term competitive advantage to the business in terms of attraction, engagement and retention of the best talent, through leading edge compensation and benefit programs. In addition this role will also act as the Compensation & Benefits regional lead for the development of global compensation processes and benefits plan design. Alongside business partnering to HR and Leadership teams, this role will also require strong influencing skills to enable faster decision making and effective delivery through our Compensation & Benefits shared services environment.

     

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Ensure best in class delivery of global compensation processes included market reward survey, job evaluation, merit & variable pay, LTIP global & local bonuses, relocation packages (domestic and international).
    • Ensure appropriate communication cascading to HR, Managers and employees developed by Centre of Excellence Compensation & Benefits
    • Own benefits enrolment and administration through regional/global staff. Ensures appropriate communication cascading to HR, Managers and employees developed by Centre of Excellence Compensation & Benefits- Support Centre of Excellence teams in benefits contract management
    • Partner with Global Process Owner and Centre of Excellence to deliver ongoing efficiency improvement through operational developments, process re-engineering and technology enhancements.
    • Work closely with Global Solution Center & Payroll ensuring the Compensation & Benefits delivery activities are executed in line with the HR operating model
    • Work closely with the Technology& Analytics Team to maximize efficiency through the systems
    • Ensure his/her teams are responding to any escalation resolution from the solution center in line with SLA
    • Recruit, develop and motivate the Global Compensation and Benefits Solution team to ensure the achievements of company objectives
    • Through regular and established feedback and continuous improvement process, inputs into global Compensation & Benefits strategies to attract, retain and motivate the high potential and performing individuals

    CANDIDATE PROFILE

    • Managerial Compensation & Benefits experience including the shared services environment
    • Preferable experience in set upping the new delivery Compensation & Benefits department, proven experience of successfully transitioning and stabilizing activities, as well experience in the HR system implementations – projects
    • Proven experience of inspiring and motivating a high-performance team of teams, ideally in a start-up/transformational landscape
    • Demonstrated successful experience in multi country/multi geographical regions and environment, as well as working with multicultural and remote teams
    • Ability to effectively communicate a strong business case for programme implementation and development and influence faster decision making through strong relationships, networking, stakeholder management, and cross-team collaboration.
    • Anticipate future trends, legislation changes and business challenges to enable the development of robust planning and strategic alignment
    • Participation in, and/or lead, regional and global projects within the global HR function
    • Availability for frequent travels
