About the project

In the Motion Services division, we are pioneering the service industries by providing Smart Service Solutions and IoT-based applications that enable world class service for our customers and our extensive service network.

In a truly global and business-driven setting, you will support our sales teams in the countries as IoT technology evangelist and expert to match our standard offering with the customer needs (pre-sales) and support the customer with IS and IoT integrations to successfully onboard our solutions (post sales).

Your responsibilities

  • As part of our Customer Success Team, you will support customers to achieve their solution goals and objectives by leveraging knowledge about ABB's IoT solutions
  • Independently participate along with sales to identify the customer’s needs, to demonstrate and articulate the features of the IoT solutions, how it is best suited for the customer and how it can be integrated with the customer’s Information Systems
  • Lead the discussion with customers about network topology, router, gateway, mobile network modem configuration, wireless network planning and configuration (WiFi, Ethernet and Bluetooth), or enterprise firewall configuration
  • Find creative and secure integration solutions using our standard offering, or propose modifications to our offering to fit the customer requirements
  • Support customers from the sales cycle through the go-live, review post-implementation and follow-up stages. Provide customized training and onboarding support to customer experts to facilitate onboarding
  • Act as evangelist of customer integration needs in the software community by suggesting new features, functionality and variants based on market input

Our requirements

  • 3 years of experience in software development or IT integration, working as developer, architect or IT integration specialist with cloud, on-prem and IoT solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Sound knowledge of API integration using Swagger, Cybersecurity, IoT and enterprise networks in industry, infrastructure or health care
  • Customer focus is your passion, you like to create integration solutions in collaboration with customers, sales representatives, and technical experts
  • Full working-proficiency in English
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Knowledge about machine monitoring and OPC_UA communication is a plus
