The person in this position will be responsible for building an EHS culture in the group's manufacturing facilities around the world.

Client Details

Our client is a global organization operating in the heavy industry market. Many years of activity and development allowed our client to play a key role in the forefront of companies in this sector. Supporting the further development of the company, we are looking for a candidate who would be interested in taking up long-term cooperation in the newly created position of Global EHS Manager

Description

  • Work for a BU with global revenues of 500 million GBP, supporting HSE teams across nine regions and more than twenty manufacturing locations.
  • Support the regions to drive improvements in the BU safety performance
  • Convert the Group HSE standards framework into an effective BU management system with clear accountabilities, priorities and defined ways of working
  • Improve cross-regional communication and best practice transfer to learn from each other.
  • Report key global KPI's accurately and in a timely fashion to the Executive Team
  • Be visible on the factory floor to raise standards and understanding of what is required to drive improvement

Profile

  • Degree required in science discipline, preferably in metallurgical engineering or materials science
  • Minimum 10 years HSE experience within an international industrial B2B environment and 3 years work on regional position cross continental for example EMEA
  • Demonstrable track record of raising safety performance and building a more capable HSE team
  • Knowledge of ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 requirement and ISO9001 external auditor certification is requested.
  • Familiar with current HSE techniques such as PPS, SPC, JHA,Take-2
  • Make change happen through negotiation, influencing and personally showing the 'right way'
  • Fluent speaking English and Polish

The role will require flexibility for both travel and working hours due to it's global nature.
