Your responsibilities
Lead commercial and legal negotiation for IT Hardware, Infrastructure & Print contracts typically between $25K and $500K;
Lead RFQ / RFP’s and subsequent negotiations for contracts typically between $25K and $2M;
Manage the sourcing process from engagement through to contract signature;
Liaise with global IS, supporting from an IS Sourcing perspective, in the deployment of global Hardware, Infrastructure & Print projects;
Facilitate contract change activities (including change requests, amendments, orders, renewals, termination notices);
Maintain accurate status, documentation and metadata for each allocated contract in the contract management system;
Execute implementation of IS Sourcing strategy;
Liaise with Legal as a main point of contact in IS Sourcing;
Cooperate closely with customers, internal stakeholders and subject matter experts (legal, tax, security, data protection & finance) providing guidance, templates and support for allocated contracts;
Support in obtaining IS Sourcing cost reduction, cost savings and cost avoidance for allocated contracts;
Lead meetings with senior ABB stakeholders across the globe.
Our requirements
Bachelor’s degree related to supply chain management or IT is preferred;
Track record: minimum 5 years of experience in Sourcing/IS Sourcing/IT Services;
Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial and legal negotiations for contracts;
Good understanding of IT Hardware, Print & Infrastructure (Datacenters, Cloud, Networking etc) category;
Experience in commercial negotiations with large IT suppliers;
Fluency in English (written and spoken) any other language is a plus;
Very good communication & negotiation skills and ability to build relationships;
Ability to manage demanding stakeholders;
Strong analytical skills;
Ability to multitask and proactively identify and solve issues;
Experience in taking decisions;
Strategic thinking, competence in analysing and managing complex business situations;
Strong team building & networking capability;
Ability to work in changing environment.
