Your responsibilities

  • Solving 1. and 2. Level Support Tasks from the DHI Service Desk.

  • End user support in our Windows and Office 365 environment and other standard software applications.

  • End User support related to laptops and modelling machines.

  • Windows Deployment - including the initial introduction to IT at DHI to new colleagues on-boarding.

  • Manning of the Service Desk– when it´s your turn in the schedule.

  • Assist 3. level support and operation by collaborating with the Infrastructure and Network teams.

  • Assist DHI Customer Care team with incidents where there is technical aspects or root cause.

  • Co-operation and co-support with the Business System team (SharePoint and Office 365 solutions).

  • Granting passwords and accesses for local employees to local systems.

  • Ordering, distributing, and keeping inventory of IT equipment in DHI Poland following Global standards and procedures.

  • Providing support in the selection of solutions, purchasing, warranty and post-warranty repairs of computer equipment necessary for the implementation of projects.

  • Delivering IT assistance on national and international projects with water engineers using different collaboration terms.

  • Participation in workshops and integration outings and trips.

Our requirements

  • Good knowledge of computer equipment and practical experience with laptops, smartphones, tablets, printers, etc. (assembly, installation, configuration, diagnostics, repair, maintenance, coordination of warranty and service repairs).

  • Knowledge of issues and the ability to configure operating systems, network, wifi, network printing, connecting a projector, audio equipment.

  • Practical experience in the field of software (installation, update, interventions with end users).

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 package.

  • Technical knowledge about collaboration tools of different kind.

  • Ability to communicate at all levels.

  • Good level of English language (speaking and writing). With daily base in Poland, Polish language skills are valued.

  • Responsible and forthcoming attitude.

  • Good organization of own work.
