Your responsibilities

  • Interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

  • Identifying, analysing and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets

  • Working closely with Data Stewards with domain expertise and Product Owner to prioritize business and information needs

  • Communicating and aligning with stakeholders to agree approach for data set

Our requirements

  • You have several years of proven working experience as Business Analyst in specific domain like Trade / Financial Market / Correspondent Banking Transaction Monitoring

  • You have expertize in studying and detecting AML suspicious trends and patterns enabling data-driven decision making

  • You have basic understanding of statistical approaches and data mapping

  • You have good understanding on the processes involved in data processing such as ETL, Big Data Technologies data quality and remediation

  • You have a good understanding of Data Governance, GDPR/P and Data Ethics

  • You are fluent in English speaking and in writing

  • You have an ability to transform complex requests into simple and concise demands,

  • You are able to clearly and succinctly express ideas, facts and opinions and you have an ability to express them fluently both in speaking and writing, supported by appropriate tools.

Optional

  • Understanding of KYC processes (CDD, transaction monitoring, AML, Screening)

  • Involvement in data specific projects, with exposure to fraud, financial crime, customer insight or compliance-based environments that utilise detection / predictive models

  • Experience in working with Quantexa

  • Experience in working with Agile development methodology, provide description to stories in backlog, prioritize backlog and explain business requirements to data engineers / developers who will implement solution

Information about the squad:

You will operate in a team responsible for implementation of Advanced Analytics & AI Solutions within the Global KYC Delivery Tribe. The Business Analyst will closely work with the Data Experts and Data Stewards from Source Systems of Wholesale Bank and Retail Countries, SMEs, product experts and Data analysts from Quantexa or other strategic Analytics Platforms chosen by Global KYC. As a Business Analyst you will take an active role in the refinement of the user stories, write documentation (BRDs, FRDs), and support the Product Owner (PO) and squad with your process knowledge, ensuring compliance by design. You refine and guarantee that the business requirements and non-functional requirements are properly translated to the Quantexa Functionalities.
