Check how to get thereAs a Global Legal Compliance Specialist, you will execute on daily basis tasks requested by stakeholders in business within agreed standards and SLA. The tasks are mainly concentrated on investigating if requested legal data are already available in Solar’s systems and data bases and if data are valid according to governance rules. You will be responsible for contacting vendors to obtain missing or invalid data and following up with them on regular basis in order to obtain SLA. You will also escalate to agreed stakeholders, if vendor do not supply you with expected data within the agreed deadlines. Moreover, you will update received data from vendors in MDM / SAP, send requested legal data to requester. You will align expectations and deadlines with legal compliance stakeholder / requester. Additionally, you will measure on weekly basis the number of different tasks executed and time spent, report the workload and setup dashboards in order to follow the development. Finally, you will continuously maintain SOPs, process charts and other documentation when changes appear.
We are looking for a passionate, respectful and responsible person who is able to work both in teams and independently. As a Global Legal Compliance Specialist, you need to show interest in legal compliance data, build up solid competences within the field. You also need to have an excellent understanding of differences between global and local legal data. Additionally, you have preferably a bachelor’s or master degree, or have a similar educational background that matches the job. You have 2-5 years of experience in similar position and preferably within master data management. As a person, you are accurate and analytic, you have high quality oriented approach. It is important that you are assertive and persistent in obtaining necessary information. In addition, you are service minded and proactive towards requesters and stakeholders. Having an experience in working in a virtual global organisation you should show a high level of flexibility and cross-country understanding. Since our corporate language is English, you are expected to speak and write it fluently. Regarding IT skills, we expect you to be a super user in Excel and preferable SAP.
