Leading technology projects for the development of new PCB and ECU packaging, component packaging and PCB assembly materials & technologies
Developing relevant documentation, including qualification requirements, application standards (Engineering and Manufacturing) and design rules released and implemented globally across Global Electronics
Manufacturing Technology roadmap implementation aligned with core application and customer application development programs
Day-to-day technical support to Global Electronics Engineering product teams and problem solving for industrialisation topics (PCB, ECU packaging, component packaging, PCB assembly) and coordination of qualification testing of new technology in advance of first use in application
Minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering
Strong knowledge and experience of the industrialisation and potential failure modes of automotive electronics, their design, component technology, materials and manufacturing processes
Strong knowledge of PCB fabrication, supply chain and assembly processes
Proven problem-solving capabilities, Six Sigma Green Belt certified
Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills and good project management capabilities
Good English language skills, both verbal and written
Good interpersonal and networking skills, a team player
Ideally 5-7 years’ experience working in automotive electronics product development and/or electronics manufacture
