We offer:

The candidate will be within the ITS Operations – Trade Management area, and will be responsible for Pro-active risk reduction: Drive down Operational Risk, reduce frequency and size of operational losses before they occur through build out of controls, in-line training, systemic process reviews for control gaps across the EMEA region.

Overall Goal:

  • Drive down Operational Risk
  • Reduce frequency and size of operational losses
  • Catalogue and track latent ops risks to feed Risk and Control Self-Assessment exercises.

Main Responsibilities and Key Tasks:

  • Development of ITS Governance Framework
  • Ensure adherence to CAF minimum standards across control inventory
  • Review Regulatory activity (Reporting) to ensure compliance to procedures, ensure MI in place to track issues and MARCS is up to date
  • Conduct regional review of Business Capability Mapping
  • Assist in Supervision Policy Compliance work
  • Review Monthly Business Review (outsourcing) content for all MBRs and ensure core consistency
  • Deep Dives (mini Audits) - Review of TM Mandate – gaps in MI, procedures, checklists, process maps, where we do any “Recs” without MI e.g. broker checks
  • Focus on BREXIT entity controls and ITS Service Provider R&R
  • Manage and assist on Zurich Control read across/harmonization project
  • Help co-ordinate where the business has TM related risks e.g. GenX risk – spend time focusing on how this actually can be reduced (reconciliation of STUB vs XML)

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in Banking/Operations
