We are looking for a highly motivated Global Mobility Cost Controller. You will be part of a newly built team which is responsible for delivering Global Mobility services within an international organization. We are looking for someone who can work independently, enjoys financial management and who will embrace the opportunity to gain insight into the complex area of Global Mobility management.

your tasks

In your role you will:

  • Take part in the transition of Global Mobility services to the Global Centre from various countries around the world, setting up new processes
  • Take part in the implementation of relocation provider, including processes for expense management and invoicing.
  • Manage, review, track and monitor compensation & benefits, tax, social security and pension arrangements for international assignees to ensure compliance withthe company's policies and applicable legal requirements
  • Be involved in financial management (including reconciliation and forecasting)
  • Make sure the right costs are allocated and internally invoiced to the right units in the company
  • Reconcile tax and social security to secure high quality of data
  • Follow up payment orders (tax, social security and interest)
  • Calculate accruals and inform responsible units for cost related communication
  • Manage cost and financial related aspects with 3rd party suppliers
  • Administer pension costs on behalf of the company
  • Report and invoice on behalf of the company
  • Stay updated on market trends and best practice within Finance and Global Mobility services e.g. compliance, tax, social security

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field required (Finance related academic credentials preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience with cost controlling (Global Mobility services, tax, and/or social security experience will be an advantage)
  • Good communication skills are required to direct the activities of finance employees in DNV GL globally and explain complicated International Assignment (IA) schemes and IA relevant financial information
  • To have analytical skills to understand the International Assignment cost related issues
  • To take a holistic approach and at the same time follow up the details
  • Ability to identify process improvements
  • Customer service orientation with ability to serve multiple customers concurrently
  • Ability to identify, analyse and resolve complex issues involving multiple stakeholders
  • Strong numeracy and accuracy skills with ability to understand and explain financial concepts
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Teams, etc.) required
  • Good knowledge of the Finance system landscape (Oracle Finance and Basware will be an advantage)
  • Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining professional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders (ability to interface with all levels of the organization)
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English
  • Ability to develop and implement new ideas or ways of working and adapt to change - An eye for innovation trends and digital solutions
