Your responsibilities
Owner of the Global Payroll process (1.200 payslips in Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia/New Zealand)
Strategically supervise, motivate and lead payroll team of 3 people.
Key contact point for the business and the global finance leadership team on all payroll related topics
Owner of the relationship with payroll vendors
Act as the point of contact for any escalated payroll queries
Maintaining the global payroll calendar and ensuring timely execution of payroll activities
Hands on involvement in day-to-day payroll activities for US and Canada
Review and sign-off the work of other members of the payroll team and inputs provided by third parties
Review, monitor and continuously improve payroll processes and activities
Using third party advisors, ensure full compliance to payroll regulation in all countries
Our requirements
Strong working knowledge of managing payroll processes (in-house and through vendors)
Understanding of payroll accounting
Previous people leadership experience is a plus, but the role is suitable for an experienced payroll professional with excellent interpersonal skills who wants to take the next step and lead a small team
Hands on experience with payroll for multiple countries, ideally using a global payroll vendor
Prior experience from Global / European Shared Services and/or an international payroll provider is a plus
Proactive and organized individual with sound analytical/problem-solving skills
Can-do attitude
Team player and strong communicator
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with HR systems (Ceridian/DayForce, SAP/SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, etc.) is a plus
