Your responsibilities

  • Lead the global Enterprise Policy Framework implementation

  • Work closely with global functional leaders and designees, as well as any further key stakeholders identified, to define the Policy Framework roll out priorities, considering potential risks and non-compliance exposure.

  • Actively work with key business stakeholders and policy owners to secure compliance to the policy and process frameworks and standards

  • Deliver training and socialization of the Policy framework and standards as needed, potentially across different levels of the organization from senior leaders to functional specialists

  • Facilitate discussions with a wide range of functions across the global organization providing policy documentation and standardization support from a methodology perspective . Identify potential cross-functional policy overlaps and/or discrepancies, as well as supporting knowledge (processes, templates, manuals, etc.) identification.

  • Manage global Enterprise Policies’ methodology compliance and lifecycle.

  • Manage the Policy Repository as well as any relevant technology identified to support the Framework roll out. Provide user technology support, as required.

  • Maintain and continuously improve the Policy Framework, standards, processes and tools.

  • Be a core resource in the communication and change management effortsas required.

  • Facilitate knowledge stratification capture in accordance to the McCormick documentation hierarchy.

  • Support key global stakeholders in identifying the processes required to be designed in order to facilitate the policy execution.

  • Provide business process capture support

  • Align with the broader Central Capabilities Team on the business process management training requirements and approach.

  • Establish and execute the standard stakeholder reporting requirements as well as the standard reporting framework.

  • Create Policy implementation metrics and reports via Tableau and escalate issues, when required.

  • Champion, grow, and maintain all avenues of process discipline communication tools and forums to include key updates, insights and outputs of Process Discipline.

Our requirements

  • BA/BS degree in business, finance, or another relevant field OR enough experience in lieu of degree

  • Fluent English is required

  • 5+ years of work experience in business process with steady progression in depth and breadth of understanding

  • 3-5 years of process documentation and design

  • 2-3 years facilitation required, specialization in business process preferred

  • 5+ years of global and/or cross functional project/program management preferred

  • Experience establishing and delivering key stakeholder reporting required.

  • Experience working in a risk, compliance and/or contract management function or regulated industry preferred.

  • Prior experience with knowledge/process management software preferred.

  • Excellent customer relationship management skills required

  • Ability to influence and address issue -resolution without formal authority required

  • Strong analytical, presentation and business results communication

  • Self-starter with ability to summarize complex issues into easily understood explanations based on diverse audiences

  • Understands the implications of different technical and process choices and is able to guide business partners to best solution for their situation. Solicits input from team members at all levels within organization

  • Excellent analytical skills as well as evaluative judgment based on the analysis of factual and qualitative information in complex situations.

Working as a member of the globalCentral Capabilities team under the general supervision of the Business Process Management (BPM) Manager the purpose of this role is to build a global network, coordinate and execute the global implementation of McCormick’s Enterprise Policy Framework and standards, alongside the supporting knowledge resources, including, but not limited to, business processes in accordance with the BPM standards.
