    The EMEIA Tax Centre (ETC) is a part of Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) specializing in delivery of integrated solutions across the Regions and Sub-service lines, as demanded by our global clients in the rapidly changing tax environment.
    Today ETC comprises over 350 tax, technology and business specialists and accountants in 18 countries across EMEIA offering global integrated services in:
    • Statutory Reporting
    • Direct tax

    • Payroll
    The EMEIA Tax Centre (ETC) is currently seeking a Specialist to join the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Poland to support our Global Clients in:
    • multi country Corporate/ Group Accounting process including General Ledger review, Balance Sheet reconciliation and month end processes monitoring.
    • multi country Statutory Compliance process from data gathering and validation to GAAP bridging between Group GAAP (US GAAP/ IFRS) and local GAAP, required for the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements
    Key responsibilities:
    • Coordinate the global corporate accounting process and/ or statutory reporting compliance for Global Clients;
    • Coordinate and review the activities that are performed in the Centers of Excellence and EY local offices;
    • Provide detailed insight in the Group GAAP to Local GAAP reconciliation to group management;
    • Liaise with the Client Global Process Owners on the accounting processes and continuous improvement opportunities;
    • Develop, implement and manage new client strategic processes.
    • Coach, develop and growth the team of junior and senior accountants.
    • Strong project management skills, strong analytical skills and international focus;
    • 4-7 years of work experience in audit/accounting, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in working with global clients; shared service experience is an asset;
    • Qualified chartered accountant (ACCA, CIMA, KIBR) is an asset;
    • IFRS and US-GAAP knowledge, GAAP bridging experience is an asset;
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Business English; knowledge of other foreign languages (French, Spanish, etc.) is an asset.
