About the project

Provide detailed assessment of existing solutions and infrastructure to migrate to the cloud. Deliver migration strategy based on detailed analysis and implement application and data migration activities.

Your responsibilities

  • To develop and support GCP infrastructure

  • Technical help and resolving operational issues

  • Investigates the configuration and system security of the systems to ensure they are working effectively and they are up-to-date

  • Manage and upgrade operating systems

  • Monitors and investigates the capacities and performance of the systems

  • Compare, assess, and implement new technologies, and integrate systems into the computing environment

Our requirements

  • Knowledge of RDBMS, well versed with SQL, will be required for source data analysis/ extraction

  • Python with GCP APIs like Big Query, GCS and Dataflow

  • Big Query

  • Cloud Dataflow will be good to have

  • Google DLP API

  • Apache NiFi

  • Cloud Composer

  • Scripting on python and general bash scripts

  • Knowledge of any additional ETL tool (like Informatica) and Control-M if required to extract data from source will be considered as an advantage

Optional

  • Implement Test Strategies within sprint by working closely with Scrum Teams, Architect, E2E Primes, Release Architect, UAT and vendor partners

  • Visualize and plan well ahead for various stages of Software Testing Lifecycle

  • Optimize the testing efforts

  • Support and propagate the Quality Engineering practices

  • Having end to end understanding of Commerce platform functional components integration and operation
