Your responsibilities
Manage the technical team responsible for IT Security awareness, compliance and risk management processes by establishing and managing a staffing plan, conducting performance and development management (1:1s, promotions, boosting motivation and engagement), and planning and execution of budget, while adhering to Sylvamo’s culture and HR processes
Oversee the development, implementation and support of Sylvamo’s enterprise security governance program globally, while ensuring continuous improvement of governance processes and day-to-day operational stability
Cooperate with our Global Sourcing department to select and manage vendors needed for the GRC processes (awareness, risk assessment and compliance)
Cooperate with our Global Sourcing and Legal departments to manage TPRM (Third Party Risk Management) Program that includes risk assessment and the review and maintenance of IT Security provisions in vendor’s contracts
Cooperate with our internal departments to establish and maintain Data Protection, Data Privacy and Data Governance processes
Establish and maintain applicable Enterprise Service Levels (SLAs)
Provide strategic direction relative to the implementation and use of security governance technologies and solutions at Sylvamo, while taking into account the implications of training and compliance processes across geographic and language boundaries, to ensure data-centric protection and governance
Our requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
5+ years of management / leadership experience
7+ years of IT/Information Security work experience
4+ years IT business analysis and design experience with exposure to customers
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage staff, manage conflict, deal with ambiguity, negotiate and make timely decisions
Advanced understanding and practical application experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance and Security related technologies and services
Experience in working with customers, managing supplier relations and managing projects (from process design through production support)
Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to write clear, concise business communication for multiple levels (management, technical, and user)
Optional
Security Certification preferred: CISSP, CISM, GIAC or CISA
