Your responsibilities

  • Gathering, analysing and developing business requirements

  • Undertaking client and staff journey mapping to contextualise the overall client and IC experience

  • Working with stakeholders to identify and prioritise investment content for digitisation

  • Assisting with management of relationship with third party investment content/ research providers e.g. HSBC Global Research

  • Coordinating the review of third party contracts related to content providers

  • Managing governance meetings with third party vendors

  • Supporting the research analyst access and approval process

  • Supporting the development of the Digital roadmap and prioritisation of demand

  • Assisting the Digital change management process

  • Tracking achievement against targets and supporting the development and refinement of targets

  • Keeping stakeholders up to date and completing required programme reporting

  • Preparing relevant materials to support governance forums and stakeholder sessions

  • Stakeholder collaboration with technical and non-technical SMEs, including workshop facilitation

Our requirements

  • Strong stakeholder management skills

  • Experience of project management and / or business analysis

  • Proven experience in an environment that demands organisational agility and getting results through effective management of processes

  • Ability to detect, identify and define problems then design effective solutions and implement appropriate controls

  • Self-motivated, driven and delivery focused, with a good understanding of project management disciplines and techniques

  • Highly adaptable with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently

  • Effective presentation, interpersonal, negotiation and analytical skills together with strong English verbal and written communication abilities

  • Strong IT skills (Excel, PPT, Word)

  • Understanding of GPB Strategy and the HSBC Group

  • Recognised professional investment qualifications beneficial

  • Knowledge and understanding of Investment Products beneficial

Job Description

Working as part of the IPG COO (Investment and Products Group Chief Operating Office) Support team this role will focus on supporting the Investment Services Product Lead in development of the digital investment content capabilities across IPG activities driving improvements in client experience, internal efficiency and supporting business growth. The GPB Digital programme of work is managed through Sub-Value Streams (SVS) and the Investment Services SVS has responsibility for delivering digital capabilities to support IPG activities. The Investment Services Product Lead is the central owner of digital product execution, content and the digital strategy for their respective area. Specific responsibilities, working with other key stakeholders, include requirements generation, MVP and roadmap definition, delivery prioritisation and ensuring that the solutions align with internal user experience standards and technical design.
