Your responsibilities
One of UPM Raflatac’s strategic corner stones is Winning Operations. Winning in operations means continuing our relentless drive for safety, quality and productivity in our factories and terminals and our continuously improving Supply Chain management. We also want to make sure that we have the appropriate competitive capacity in place to serve the market needs. Continuous Improvement underpins everything we do.
- Analyse production data and present the outcomes
- Assist in production operations to identify and propose opportunities for processes improvement
- Lead, manage and facilitate continual improvement projects and events
- Prepare presentations, train and coach employees in continual improvement methods
- Contribute to 5S, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and problem solving solutions and tools
-Drive the standardisation of processes and implementation of metrics and best practices
-Provide World Class Manufacturing techniques to support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
As a Graduate, Continuous Improvement, Production you will be mainly located in Wroclaw, Poland. During your 1-year-trainee path you will have additional assignment in Poland and elsewhere in Europe or the USA.
Our requirements
You have university degree In the area of production process management/ continual improvement
You are enthusiastic about a career in Production Management/ Continuous Improvement
You have a good business understanding
You have developed attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data and make data analysis
You have knowledge about Continual Improvement tools
You have ability to analyse and solve problems in a logical manner
You have some experience in Project Management
You have good communication and presentation skills
You have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate well at all levels
You are able to work independently and achieve given timelines and targets
You have a person with proactive approach, demonstrating innovation, initiative and positivity
You have excellent technical skills in basic office software, e.g. MS Office/ MS Excel
You have fluent skills in Polish and English

The UPM Graduate Programme is a paid internship.
