Given our expansion plans and exciting new projects Lime - Kredyt is currently recruiting for the position of:

Group Accountant

Miejsce pracy: Wrocław

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage accounting processes, post to the general ledger, maintain master data, reconcile and maintain multiple balance sheet accounts
  • Coordinate reconciliation of sub ledger accounts and general ledger
  • Monitoring and analysis of business transactions according to IFRS
  • Participate in audit or pre-audit tasks, compliance activities and other related accounting duties as assigned
  • Leverage your expertise to constantly seek out better ways of performing processes, to contribute to process excellence initiatives
  • Work with local accountants (in-house and outsource) to maintain the financial close process while supporting all financial and technical aspects of consolidation
  • Execute the consolidation process of multi-national, multi-currency subsidiary financial statements, including the recording of consolidating entries, reconciliation of intercompany balances, and other additional corporate reporting requirements
  • Timely preparation of stand-alone and consolidated financial reports for submission to regulators, for debt covenants, management reports and other ad-hoc reports

The ideal candidate will have:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
  • Financial experience min. 3 years
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), country-specific GAAP or other multi-country accounting experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
  • Demonstrate problem solving, decision making, and continuous process improvement skills
  • Competent to multitask, set priorities, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment.
  • Able to work proactively and independently
  • Good English and Russian skills (Spanish would be an asset).
