Recruitment for
For our Client, manufacturer of bi-fold and large-scale sliding doors, we are looking for candidates for the position of Group Manufacturing Manager (GMM).
Your responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for manufacturing equipment and systems in all 4 factories.
- Recover the equivalent cost of the team with factory improvement gains each year.
- Establish and monitor scheduled maintenance program.
- Manage documented and video manufacturing instructions.
- Establish new production lines, or adapt existing production lines for new products.
Employer requirements
- Worked in manufacturing for around 20 years.
- Lead role in managing equipment and processes in a factory employing 50 or more staff.
- Lead role in establishing manufacturing processes for a new product.
- Direct experience with;
- CNC machining
- Manual assembly lines
- Knowledge of;
- Windows and doors
- Aluminium lineals
- Wood
- Gluing
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering
- Must be a fluent English speaker and writer.

The position is to be located at the Stryków factory, but GMM will be responsible for the processes and equipment in all four factories which include Stryków, Brisbane, Chicago and Nanjing. GMM will be responsible for recruiting, establishing and managing a Global Manufacturing team which would include Manufacturing Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer, Fitter / Maintenance technician CNC Programmer, Administration – Project management, write procedures, update databases
Travel:
- Travel to each factory at least once, but preferably twice per year, is expected.
- Covid will need to be taken into consideration.
