    Description:

    Responsibilities:

    This role constitutes an exciting opportunity for a high energy “do-it-all” individual to take a leading role in shaping the bank’s Payments process, controls and strategy.

    • You will drive quality, control and innovation in the Payments processes
    • You will redesign the Bank’s Payment policies and framework and enhance the governance model Bank-wide
    • You will make a meaningful impact in reducing the Bank’s risk profile and enhancement of service levels to our clients
    • You will develop new data analytical methods in the Payments process using new technologies and techniques such as data lineage
    • You will have an opportunity to develop and expand front to back and end to end process knowledge
    • You will be in a global role with the opportunity to build a network and relationships with all Divisions

    Qualifications:

    • You have a Bachelor degree or above
    • You possess 8+ years of experience in Payments and knowledge of the Bank's Payments architecture and processes
    • You are familiar with external payments environment, regulations and industry initiatives
    • You feel comfortable chairing and managing governance meetings with senior management, balancing competing views, negotiating collaborative agreements with beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders
    • You possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to influence and interact with colleagues at all levels across the Bank
    • You can work on multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
    • You have good data analytical skills and ability to write policy documentation
    • You are an expert in MS Office, particularly in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
    • You can quickly understand content in order to carry on ‘content’ driven conversations with stakeholders and colleagues
    • You are a dedicated self-starter who loves sharing knowledge with others
