Your responsibilities

  • The Jobholder has full leadership and management responsibilities to head a key part of the Global Trade and Receivable Finance team. Achieving Quality targets and meeting key deadlines each day, are paramount in driving satisfaction from HSBC’s clients & internal and external customers. The Jobholder must, therefore, look to re-engineer and automate manual processes, improve upon existing processes, as well as leading & motivating the team to deliver a quality service.

  • There is a strong focus on the training and development of people, which is a key requirement. The Jobholder will be expected to equip their team with the necessary skills, such that they have the confidence to initiate actions and work efficiently and professionally.

  • The jobholder is expected to support the Head of European Regional HUB (ERH) enabling the area to meet & exceed financial, service, risk and people targets.

  • The jobholder is expected to work closely with senior stakeholders such as Country Heads of GTRF

Our requirements

  • Identifiable leadership experience and management skills

  • Experience of coaching individuals to improved performance and developing a culture of success

  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with senior stakeholder management experience.

  • An absolute commitment to service quality

  • An ability to challenge, embrace change and persuade others to do so

  • Good business awareness to aid planning and prioritising of tasks

Optional

  • Experience in Trade Finance/Core Trade/ Guaranties/ Receivable Finance
