Work in GTRF Center supporting HSBC Guarantees clients and transactions
By ensuring that all Guarantees transactions are processing in a controlled, effective manner and that all controls are always strictly enforced.
Providing phone and email communication with the HSBC country branches
Processing of Guarantees customer applications in a compliant and efficient manner.
Processing Guarantee re-issuance application from other Financial Institutions.
Processing and requesting payment of fees associated with the issuance of Guarantees
First review and translation of Guarantees text.
Complete assigned tasks in the established timeframe as per process targets
Ensure that the productivity and quality levels are achieved as per the Service Level Agreements
Work towards sustaining team spirit
Possibility of learning of other GTRF products and gaining professional qualifications Service by GTRF Services Canter as a part of the individual development plan agreed with Line Manager (Documentary Credits, Documentary Collections, Guarantees)
Experience in Customer Service
Knowledge of banking products
Very Good English skills
Proficiency in any of those languages: French, Dutch, German will be an asset
Self-motivated work attitude which will allow working independently on job position
Very good communicative skills
Desire to achieve and go beyond targets
Strong analytical skills, attention to details

Purpose of the role
Global Trade and Receivables Finance Department (GTRF) is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.
Today, HSBC is the leading international trade bank and GTRF sits as part of Commercial Banking. We support customers’ right through the trade cycle, from raw materials – to manufacturing and shipment - to discounting and collecting invoices. We do this by working with Commercial Banking and Global Banking relationship managers, providing solutions appropriate for the customers' need.
The jobholder will work on a daily basis in Global Trade and Receivables Finance Services Center, being a part of Trade and Receivables Finance Department and cooperate with other areas of the Bank to ensure successful execution of their goals.
