    Guarantees Processing with Western European Language

    Location: Olsztyn

    In a competitive marketplace, Citi trade finance guarantees can elevate credibility and attractiveness as a trading partner – assuring customers worldwide of  commitment to deliver. A bank guarantee is a written commitment from a bank stating that a certain sum will be paid to an entitled beneficiary based on his/her first request and a statement that the ordering party did not fulfil its commitments.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Ensures an efficient, correct and timely processing of all Trade related transactions with main focus on Guarantees and Sureties (Issuances & Amendments)
    • Review/clarification of guarantee wordings with Legal incl. respective communication/clarification with customers via phone/Email/letter.
    • Communication with relevant tax offices related to custom guarantees
    • Direct contact/communication with customers via phone/email
    • Ensures an effective co-operation between Operations, Credit and Legal Department as well as Customer Service, Relationship and Product Management.
    • Reviews existing processes for efficiency and possible improvements.
    • Ensures that procedures and flows are reviewed and updated on regular basis to ensure adequate reflection of existing processes.
    • Act as contact point for question or outstanding clarifications on provider side re transactions to be processed.
    • Ensure generation/Review of non-standard claim/debit advices incl. submission to customers.
    • Handling of customer queries/Investigation via phone/email/letter primarily in “local” language
    • Requires attention to detail when making judgments based on the analysis of factual information


    Experience and skills:

    • Fluent English and one or more Western European language (written and spoken) is essential
    • Strong communication skills
    • Good time management and prioritisation skills
    • Analytical skills
    • Strong customer focus
    • Experience of working in a customer-facing role is desirable
    • Should be comfortable with MS-Office and common internal applications
    • Attention to detail
