GWS Client Accounting Team Leader

Your responsibilities

• Manage and motive the team of ~10 Client Accountants and Finance Analysts

• Organize regular 1-to-1s and team meetings to promote communication and company’s values

• Monitor Team’s performance and manage workload

• Participate in employees' development by training, coaching, delegating and constructive feedback

• Coordinate Client Accounting process including billing, cash management, cost control, corporate and Client reporting, accurate balance sheet accounts reconciliations according to deadline

• Control Client Accounting month/year end close process according to the calendar

• Perform approvals related to payments, journals and key Client Accounting controls/reconciliations

• Support in and out transitions of Clients and process;

• Review, adjust, standardize, and agree the processes for the existing and new Clients in Client Accounting Team

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures and cooperate with internal and external audit teams

• Identify, report and mitigate risks

• Identify and implement process improvements

• Create and regularly update process maps and playbooks

• Prepare reports and ad hoc analysis for Management and other stakeholders

• Build strong professional relationships with the internal and external Clients

• Cooperate effectively with other Team Leaders, Management Team and Auditors

• Performs additional job duties as requested by Line Manager

Our requirements

Job Summary:

The candidate will join Client Accounting Team, based in Warsaw and will be responsible for management of 7 to 10 people in the finance department dedicated to Facility Management, real estate sector. The main responsibility will be to provide effective management and support for the Client Accounting Team and to control Client Accounting processes. Team Leader will be working closely with the Team, Supervisor other CBRE stakeholders located across EMEA.
