Head of Accounting

Your responsibilities

• managing SSC operations for European legal entities – GL, Payroll, AP, AR, Treasury, tax reporting and compliance

• maintaining the operations of a high performing Accounting team for countries and companies in scope by leading, developing, and motivating a high-performance team delivering quality in a timely fashion

• overseeing day-to-day operations of the Accounting team, ensuring that all procedures are followed and tasks completed. This involves establishing priorities and creating schedules of main activities, monitoring regularly to identify problem areas and reporting on risks, key performance indicators and proposed corrective action

• fostering a continuous improvement culture and identify areas for further optimization

• being responsible for all legal, financial and statutory reporting and documentation requirements for the locations served by the team, in collaboration with external compliance partners,

• coordinating with partners and key stakeholders to ensure integration, efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery of Accounting services

• standarizing overall process of improvements while driving automation of routine tasks and fostering innovating business environment in line with company’s project pipeline and objectives

• keeping discipline in the process with ability to flexible adaptation and supporting resolution of any new issues which may occur

• being Single Point of Contact for all accounting & reporting matters
