We are seeking a Head of Business Development to lead new business development strategy and activity. The candidate must be highly organized, creative, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Strongly hands-on position, independence and self-motivation are very important qualities of the Candidate.
In order to realise the growth ambitions and to reach out the global customer base, we are looking for the Head of Business Development
who will lead new business development activities. The target groups that you will approach are large system integrators that sell security systems, defence companies, resellers and end users (stadiums, airports, telcos, event organisers and governments). Head of Business Development contributing to the overall Company strategy, will focus on the commercial part, working closely with the Head of Sales. He/She will be focused on business development, growth of the partner and client base and building long-term relationships.
The ideal candidate has a background in security / defense / tech start-up, with international experience in selling complex tech solutions. With your experience you will ensure that a strong network of strategic partners is built. You have a strong track record of building partnerships and working with large organisations (security system integrators, government institutions, large corporations).
- Track record of setting up new international partnerships
- Track record in sales of complex high-tech solutions on a global stage, ideally in security / defense / government
- Experience with setting up a reseller network is an advantage
- 10 + overall experience ( 5 + in business development)
- Hands on sales, business to business and business to public bodies/enterprise
- Operational and strategic, someone who can look at the bigger picture and plan business strategy, yet execute, implement and take actions on daily basis
- Experienced in handling deal making and negotiations
- Experience in selling high tech products that require technical understanding
- Experience and understanding of international relations / business cultures in global markets
- Experience in creating new markets for niche products
- Must be organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
- Experienced in holding meetings/presentations at C-Suite and Director level
- Track record of past-performance capturing new business opportunities
