Head of Finance

Manage the processing and recording of all financial transactions:

• Processing of sales, purchase, cash book and journal transactions

• Provide inclusive of forecasting and planning, performing variance analysis, reviewing and monitoring costs inherent in the business and cash flows

• Prepare of financial reports, reconciliations of the financial data to source production systems

• Manage and optimize the production overheads, direct/indirect production costs

• Ensure the monthly processing and payment of payroll in accordance with trust policies, tax authorities and timetable

• Prepare timetable templates, guidelines for the annual budgeting process and lead the quarterly forecast process

• Reporting in accordance to Polish and International GAAP

• Be familiar with tax regulations/requirements and be flexible to gain other unusual tax aspects (e.g. excise tax)

Strategic Management

• To ensure the effective development, implementation and evaluation of finance policies and procedures, ensuring their consistent and compliant application

• Embed the principles of a business partnership approach with Heads of Department to ensure proactive and effective Finance support across the organization

• Network with other peer organizations to keep up to date to support role and function development

• Identify needs and opportunities to improve the Finance function and service in conjunction with other senior management colleagues
