Head of HR IT Systems Operations and Governance & Project Lead for SuccessFactors

Your responsibilities

  • Responsibility at MAHLE for a compliant operation of global HR IT systems and the central point of contact for all relevant stakeholders such as e.g., Global Solution Owner, Global Process Owners, IT, Data Security and Auditors

  • Global coordination from the HR side of regular release changes, LCPs, etc. of global HR IT systems (SAP HR, SuccessFactors, PeopleDoc) incl testing requirements, and accurate documentation in cooperation with different stakeholders

  • Assurance of standardization, implementation, and optimization of all HR IT systems operations and governance-related processes such as authorizations, change management, test management, data deletion assurance, as well as compliance and audit

  • Preserving assets by implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures, information security and control structures in close collaboration with IT

  • Maintaining the organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining and delivering strategic plans for implementing and improving HR technologies in close cooperation with defined functions (such as HR Operations, HR Processes etc.)

  • Keeping up to date with the latest HR thinking, tools, and techniques and eager to stay current with market trends in HR Technology

  • Establishing a global support structure for the run of HR IT systems in close collaboration with the Head of HR SSC

  • Disciplinary management and leadership of the HR IT Systems Operations and Governance subordinate team, which is part of the global Center of Expertise Corporate HR - HR Operations, Processes and IT

  • Acting as Project Manager for global SuccessFactors implementation from HR side: leading, steering, consulting, and coordinating the global project team together with IT counterpart

  • Consulting all functions regarding SF system-related requirements (from the HR side) and coordination of country requirements internationally

  • Coordinating and steering business process integration within MAHLE IT landscape

  • Assurance of the Global SuccessFactors System governance (global system governance cross module and topic, coordinates release and change management across functions and regions, drives improvements and invocations, supports system audits)

Our requirements

  • Educational background in HR and/or IT is an advantage

  • Very good know-how in some of the relevant HR IT applications and relevant processes to assure a smooth and compliant operation of the systems, such as SAP HCM (PA, PY, PT, OM, ESS, MSS), SuccessFactors, PeopleDoc, etc.

  • Excellent SuccessFactors knowledge and implementation experience

  • Experience in the management of employees in the field of HR IT either from previous management positions or within the framework of project management

  • Strong experience in the implementation and management of global HR projects in an international business environment

  • Good understanding of HR Cloud solutions, HR IT architecture requirements, HR processes and data flows

  • Experience in Change Management and transformation projects

  • Very strong organization, planning, and communication skills

  • Good team player who enjoys working in an international environment

  • Cooperative and open leadership style

  • Business fluent in English (written/spoken) is mandatory, German language is an advantage

  • Willingness to travel and the ability for virtual collaboration
