About the project

Working as part of the Digital IT leadership team, you will be the software delivery hand of the Digital IT Director. This is a broad role which spans across IT delivery, business partnership, external suppliers and technical knowledge. Our Digital IT teams work using agile principles in a feature team model. You will responsible for leading IT software delivery for entire digital banking and lending solutions as well as new business initiative. You will find practical and pragmatic solutions to business problems as well as ensure that we can scale up and scale down our technical resource as required to meet delivery needs and be in line with our agile culture.

3. Leading developers’ teams in a matrix scrum environment – including both organizational and financial aspects

Your responsibilities

  • Lead software development teams to deliver, document and maintain entire banking and lending solutions as well as new business initiatives

  • Manage feature teams’ delivery process to foster team performance, effectiveness, and predictability

  • Develop and deliver the technology strategy together with IT leadership team

  • Agreeing business priorities for IT investments in software engineering area

  • Develop and manage software engineering development tools (including release management and devops) to enable delivery of software changes at high velocity and safe manner.

  • Manage all software engineering schedules, budgets and resource allocation to meet business priorities as well as budget restrictions.

  • Be accountable and responsible for effective budget management, resource planning and monitoring of the IT capex budget

Our requirements

  • Strong background leading software development projects through complete release cycles

  • 3+ years of people management experience in technology environment

  • (Over 100 FTE)

  • The knowledge of software development metrics, quality of service measurement, and standards

  • Knowledge across fintech market, preferably online lending would be a strong advantage

  • Business acumen and ability to understand business environment and translate it into technology solutions

  • Modern and broad technical knowledge - technology knowledge of web, java, Salesforce, micro services, Mule, DevOps and AWS++

  • In depth experience with Agile practices

  • Know-how to lead/scale a team and balance multiple high priority initiatives

  • Exposure to working in an international business that works cross-culturally
