Your responsibilities
This role is an outstanding opportunity for you to become a specialist in working with hedge funds and alternative risk premia managers, and to build yourself a strong network within Credit Suisse. You are going to actively support Senior Hedge Fund Due Diligence Analysts and Portfolio Managers and contribute to selecting hedge funds for clients. You will manage and perform a variety of tasks in the areas of hedge fund due diligence and research, which includes meeting a diverse set of hedge fund managers, providing updates and reviews on their performance and strategies, assisting in the development and maintenance of the Hedge Funds selection and monitoring frameworks, as well as managing the hedge fund portfolios for internal and external clients. You will have opportunities to grow within our organization and foster know-how on various topics related to liquid alternative investments.

Our requirements
A university degree in Finance/Banking/Economics or an equivalent education
Familiar with key terms of the hedge fund industry and have a basic understanding of alternative investment strategies (e.g. hedge funds, risk premia, private equity)
Familiar or show interest in financial editorial work
Proven experience in alternative investments is a plus
Outstanding communication skills combined with fluency in English, written and spoken. French, German or other languages are a plus
The quality of your work meets high standards and as a proven self-starter and independent thinker you like to coordinate in a highly collaborative environment helping in the team's success
As a dedicated team-player you show a motivated and flexible can-do attitude and use your outstanding organizational skills in order to manage work in a very precise and efficient way
Excellent computer literacy (especially MS Office, programming experience would also be beneficial) and analytical skills
Proven ability to manage work effectively under pressure
