Your responsibilities

  • Support employee engagement and retention by reviewing, updating and carrying out an annual employee survey to analyze organizational HR trends and to inform HR strategy and priorities;

  • Contribute to the monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc HR and business reporting processes; assumes responsibility for effectively recording, maintaining, and reporting human resources information.

  • Ensure HR information, advice and guidance to members of management and staff, work closely with other HR team members to ensure consultation processes are carried out correctly and in a timely manner;

  • Act as a first point of contact for management and staff on a variety of HR matters to ensure guidance, coaching, counselling, intervention;

  • Follow-up on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, communication, progressive discipline, policy interpretation, performance management, workforce planning, and attendance management;

  • Together with line managers ensure staffing strategies to help attract and retain top talent; offer full cycle recruitment services and provide internal and external candidates with a positive and professional recruitment experience;

  • Leads salary review process;

  • Support the creation of a learning culture, with the necessary supporting annual training needs plan, policies, procedures and activities;

  • Understand the HR strategy and ensure the implementation of the associated strategic HR action plan, projects and HR / business initiatives to positively add value to both the organization and employees;

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures. In cooperation with management team ensure the regular review and update of the HR policies and procedures as well as other HR documents to support the HR plan and internal processes when necessary.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or Organization Development or equivalent;

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an HR generalist;

  • Very good knowledge of English (B2); Polish is mandatory;

  • Ability to analyze and interpret HR data;

  • Business acumen and ability to understand financials;

  • EHS awareness;

  • Good knowledge of HR legislation and regulations;

  • Client service orientation and experience of coaching and influencing line and senior managers;

  • Technical HR expertise including compensation and benefits, with experience in dealing with salary benchmarking, benefit management, grading and bonus structures;

  • Strong communication and influencing skills;

  • Emphatic listening skills and the capacity to identify issues and provide advice and guidance;

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook);

  • Detail oriented with strong follow-through skills and strong sense of ownership;

  • Team member who shares knowledge and expertise and jumps in to help when needed;

  • Commitment to being on top of HR trends and best practices.

For our manufacturing facility in Gliwice, we are actively recruiting for HR Business Partner to join our HR Team at Johnson Matthey Battery Systems. Reporting to HR Manager this position will work operationally with key stakeholders and leaders in a business partnering capacity to ensure HR support and service is provided to enable them to meet their aims and objectives in line with the needs and priorities of the company.
