Your responsibilities

  • Acts as a strategic partner to business leaders: collaborates with the Management Team to understand their business goals and needs, and provides expert guidance on HR matters to support those objectives.

  • Manages employee relations: handles employee relations issues, such as performance concerns, grievances, and disciplinary actions; works to improve employee engagement and fosters a positive workplace culture.

  • Performance management: oversees the performance review process, identifies top performers and underperformers, and provides guidance and support for performance improvement plans.

  • Training and development: designs and delivers training and development programs to improve employee skills and knowledge.

  • Compensation and benefits management: manages compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with business goals.

  • Compliance and legal issues: in collaboration with the HR Team, ensures compliance with labor laws and regulations, and provides guidance on legal issues related to HR.

Employer requirements

  • 5+ years of HR and recruitment experience (at least 2+ years as HR Business Partner)

  • Fluency in English and Polish

  • Ability to coordinate HR initiatives across the organization

  • At least basic knowledge of local labour law

  • Ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and written

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Ability to remain adaptable and flexible towards ad hoc situations and cultural differences

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision

  • Strong organizational skills, including time management and multi-tasking

  • PC and Office 365 proficiency

  • Business and results orientation with a passion for people

  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills are highly desired

  • Willingness to visit our office located in Gdańsk (app. twice per month)

  • People and project management experience will be a plus
