Your responsibilities
Manage and coordinate Data Subject Request process across HR function to ensure compliance with GDPR, and other regional data protection regulations
Identify any areas of concern and escalate appropriately to Privacy / Legal teams
Assist with guidance to local HR users on privacy standards and how to meet them
Take an active role in any relevant projects to ensure that Data Protection and Privacy points/matters are considered up front and throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain Global HR Data Inventory, coordinating the regular review and update process, and provide analysis to identify & address data privacy risks and reporting requirements
Respond to HR related data privacy queries, promoting HR data privacy and protection of colleague data during interactions with the business; escalate more complex issues to Legal/Privacy teams if needed
Assist in investigation of data incidents
Provide support on information gathering and analysis for data privacy projects, covering HR applications, vendor contracts, data transfers, data retention, individual rights requests and data incidents
Our requirements
Bachelor’s degree required (legal background not required)
1+ or more years' experience in HR operations procedures, ideally in a SSC environment
Experience participating projects across multiple business units
Knowledge of HR systems, ideally Workday
Technical mindset and knowledge of HR, data processing, systems and IT concepts; ability to quickly learn and use new technology programs
Analytical approach and problem solving skills required
A good command of spoken and written English (C1+) is a must

The HR Data Privacy Specialist is part of HR/CIS function and supports Privacy teams with ensuring that the global HR function is compliant with local and regional data protection regulation, focusing on EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
