Your responsibilities

  • Managing updates in the HR system (Workday)

  • Creation of documents connected with employee lifecycle

  • Tracking and monitoring end dates for contracts and working with Managers on prolongings

  • Uploading compensation lists in the HR system (Workday)

  • Management of Personel e-files

  • Conducting regular audits for data to ensure compliance

  • Working with our vendor on background checks for all our employees

  • Responsible for the training calendar

  • Management of confirmed list of attendees to trainers

  • Managing training materials and survey to attendees after the training

  • Monitoring the Training inbox and answering questions for participants

  • Supporting the mentor/sponsor programs

  • Scheduling induction sessions for new joiners

  • Collecting feedback and tracking their satisfaction after the onboarding process

  • Liasoning with other departments to ensure a smooth start day for all new joiners

  • Preparing and managing necessary reports

  • Working on process improvements and sharing best practices across offices within the EMEA region

  • Attending and managing regular team calls

Our requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 1-3 years of HR Administration experience in a demanding environment preferred

  • Fluent English at C1- C2 level

  • Fluency in French or German will be plus

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Computer applications with proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook, Word & Internet along with good Excel, PowerPoint and strong typing skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and listening skills

The Role:

HR Generalist is expected to perform autonomously with a high level of expertise in all administrative areas of HR Operations. Professional growth will be driven by the number of offices they can support (may depend on language skills, in addition to English), breadth and depth of expertise in areas of EMEA HR operations.

HR Generalist is required to be flexible, agile and with a considerable experience of working in a demanding environment. This role will be assigned to work closely with one of the Bain Offices in EMEA for long term. However, when the situation demands, you may be assigned to different offices, sometimes multiple offices at once, if capacity allows. Each office assignment may cover some or all of the tasks identified below, or could include certain specific tasks not in the list below.

Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time in case no offices from the region require assistance with employee administration at the given moment. These tasks may include recruiting support, professional development, staffing support etc.
