Your responsibilities

  • Providing HR advice as a key member of the HID site leadership team and act as a trusted partner.

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders across the business and at any level in the organization.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with other divisions (present on site) to ensure cohesive delivery of HR programs and services to the local staff.

  • Developing and implementing adequate and innovative HR solutions taking into consideration corporate guidelines and local social legislation.

  • Actively participating in the local, European and global HR community and build up efficient relationships

  • Delivering day-to-day life cycle support, from onboarding to offboarding and on all HR and people-related matters in between.

  • Leading and developing the HR team based on site (1 team member)

  • Maintaining employee and payroll data.

  • Driving a positive employee relations culture

  • Ensuring general HR compliance in Poland, and to HID Safety and Ethics & Compliance guidelines.

Our requirements

  • University degree or diploma in HR with solid professional experience (3-5 years) in an HR function, ideally as generalist.

  • Strong understanding and expertise in Polish labor law.

  • Prior experience leading, coaching, and mentoring direct report.

  • Experience with matrix and complex changing work environment.

  • Fluent in Polish and English (written & verbal), other language an asset.

HID’s Human Resource Department:

Being part of HID HR team reporting to our Senior HR Mgr. Eastern Europe and work in close collaboration with our Global HR and Payroll teams.

You will ensure that appropriate HR strategies, systems and capabilities are in place to support and achieve the business objectives and drive organizational effectiveness with the management team while focusing on culture, processes and structure.

This role requires a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in all HR functional areas. The role is a standalone position responsible for all HR functions within HID Global in Poland, but you will also be working closely with HR colleagues from other ASSA ABLOY divisions (on site and in the legal entity)

Your role will be far from one-dimensional. You will act as HR partner and change agent on site ensuring consistent implementation of best-in-class HR processes including recruitment, development, coaching & mentoring as well as retention of our people. You will use Human Resources Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. And you’ll also act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics.

The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.
