Your responsibilities

  • Deliver efficient and reliable end-to-end Payroll service

  • Timely and accurate Payroll accounting, Vendor payments, preparing schedules and payroll related G/L accounts, monthly reconciliations etc.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholder – both within (HR Generalists) and outside (regulatory authorities, vendors etc.)

  • Mitigate the operational risk in a proactive manner by applying effective controls in the process, and by conducting process health checks periodically and implementing any recommendations as applicable

  • Support new migrations, global projects and the surrounding change control process

  • Produce process MI with a view to constantly refine the process as required

  • Responsible for keeping the organization compliant to the latest changes and developments within the regulatory environment, as driven by govt. bodies

  • Implement best practice sharing between the various regional Payroll processes, where ever possible

Our requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ expert or managerial experience in a HR operation related role or in processing environment (preferably within payroll area)

  • Good communication skills in spoken and written English (another European language is a plus)

  • Good time management skill

  • Good presentation skills

  • Ability to build and maintain relations with business units and continuously give feedback by stringent following up Performance Level Agreement

  • Evidence of process management skills with an ability to initiate process improvements

  • Strong customer orientations. A high standard of interpersonal sensitivity, communication and judgment skills

  • Strong leadership skills and resource planning skills along with the ability to handle capacity and MI reporting

  • Familiar with the HR policies and regulations

About the role

The role holder is responsible for Payroll operations in assigned European entity(ies) i.e. timely and accurate disbursal of payroll for employees in the region. He/she is also responsible for the timely deduction and remittance of taxes and other regulatory deductions, on behalf of the above mentioned employees to the statutory authorities.
