The Opportunity

As the Regional People Services Centre HR Quality and Audit Lead for EMEA, you’ll be responsible for Quality Assurance Gap Assessment and Management Monitoring Audit processes across the HR Services in all countries in the Region. You’ll conduct effective Management Monitoring for all Audit processes and be responsible for identifying mitigation actions for People Services as required. A key part of this role will be to collaborate with Payroll & Benefits to co-develop the capabilities necessary to deliver Compliances and Standard Controls for the Payroll processes. This is a critical role in delivering to the Internal Control Framework for GSK HR Services in the Region, so you’ll need to partner effectively with colleagues across multiple geographies and be an expert in building relationships.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Acts as a subject matter expert on certain topics related to departmental quality assurance and Management Monitoring Audit processes and mitigation actions to People Services (as appropriate)
  • Accountable for on-time completion of QA Gap Assessment and Management Monitoring in all countries in Region for HR Services. Work in Partnership with Country Duty Holders.
  • Collaborates with Payroll & Benefits Admin Lead to provide input to develop the capabilities necessary to deliver Compliances and Standard Controls for the Payroll processes.
  • Own adherence to Internal Control Framework for HR Services in Region.
  • Help lead appropriate training for new members on Audit and Compliance. Raises awareness within PSC teams for Risk Management.
  • Design and support internal/external audits to ensure Data Accuracy across systems
  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert in the Regional PSC Leadership Team for all Internal and External Audit interface and advice on mitigation plans
  • Works in partnership with HR Risk Team to facilitate Management Monitoring controls and Risk Mitigation Actions
  • Point of Contact in PSC Regional Leadership Team for RMCB
  • Sharing of best practices across the Region on Controls and Mitigation Actions for HR Services
  • Lead various Regional Governance meetings in support of good Management Monitoring and HR Risk Mgt practices
  • Ensure Business and Crisis Continuity Plans and Monitoring across all Service providers in People Services in the Region – in partnership with Payroll & Benefit Admin Lead
  • Generation of various leadership level Risk management decks
  • Monitors services to ensure quality standards are maintained in a fast moving/multiple priority environment for People Services
  • Work together with Data Management and Customer Support Lead to improve quality standard for the hub.
  • Responsible for Reconciliation process between payroll and Workday and work together with Payroll Lead, Customer Support Lead and Data Management to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Lead a team of up to 5 direct reports.

Basic Qualifications - We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: 
  • Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Prior experience in setting up and establishing a quality function – covering audit, governance, compliance etc
  • Experience working in a multinational environment in HR Process and Shared Services
  • Exposure in Quality, Risk Management, Forensics and/or Audit roles
  • Experience of conducting/supporting internal audits
  • People leadership experience
  • Fluency in English and Polish.
