Your responsibilities

  • HR Answers Escalation - Advise managers and employees on general queries relating to HR policies and procedures. Act as an escalation point where support is needed outside the specific HR policies/specialist HR teams. Pick up queries that require investigation and an ability to think outside the box.

  • Performance Management – In partnership with Employee Relations, support the initial investigations for disciplinaries, grievances and performance coaching.

  • Redundancies – Partner with HR Business Advisors and the Business to support the end to end redundancy process including finalizing of all paperwork and supporting both managers and employees from initial communication through to termination of employment.

  • Core Projects – Work on core projects to support key HR initiatives such as automating processes, diversity equity and inclusion, digitizing the client experience, in-country, or product subject matter expert.

  • Knowledge Transition – Acting as Relationship Manager for local HR heads; processes standardization and ensuring that the processes taken over are in accordance with local law; develop overall strategies for knowledge transition for new countries.

  • Leave of Absence Support – Support both managers and employees during leaves of absence such as sickness, maternity/paternity and unpaid leave.

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on regional level, identify improvement opportunities and partner with local HR team on knowledge transition to WCC

  • Mailbox management – Managing the intake of all new cases through email and our HR system, ensuring the right cases are escalated to the right team as needed.

Our requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Able to influence stakeholders and feel comfortable with ambiguity.

  • Excellent organization and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple demands and shifting priorities.

  • Client-service focused team player who operates with a sense of urgency and professionalism. Knows when to escalate matters for appropriate resolution.

  • Critical thinking and analytical skills; identify issues and trends, develop solutions and/or recommendations to address root cause and mitigate risk to the firm.

  • Curious, “can do” attitude and able to work independently

  • Good time management and able to manage several project for different countries

  • Three to five years of experience as HR Generalist

  • Knowledge of French or Danish is a great advantage

Job Description

The HR Employee Digital & Service Experience Team provides extended HR support to employees and managers, as well as HR teams.

Operating across all EMEA Lines of Business, the team offers HR Generalist grounding, with a fundamental understanding of Technical and Advisory HR functions due to the diversity and value of the work.

The HR GES Solutions team is responsible for:

- Client advisory - investigate possible solutions for complex cases that require specialist knowledge and an ability to use judgement on HR operations, policies, and processes. Handling difficult conversations whilst utilizing HR specialist teams as required.

- Acting as an Intermediary with other HR teams - offers unparalleled exposure and networking opportunities not only within HR, but also with senior Stakeholders across LoB, functions, and business areas.

- Partnering closely with HR Business Advisors and Employee Relations - collaborate on a variety of cases, most especially redundancies, grievances, disciplinaries, disputes and performance management.

- Consistency - reconciling global and regional processes across a variety of HR products, with the opportunity to become an SME in a country, product, or initiative.
