They are currently looking for people for the position: HR Specialist

Your responsibilities

  • Prepares and controls data input files for payroll and associated administration processes

  • Key internal coordinator for reviewing the payroll process ensuring the quality, timeliness and compliance of the external payroll service provision.

  • Undertake any monthly, year-end or ad-hoc payroll activities (in conjunction with the Finance Manager) including liaising with the external payroll provider or other relevant parties as required.

  • Acts as the primary administrator of the HRIS i.e. Workday/iPeople, ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of the data quality input and training/on boarding for all new hires, including IMA (identity management).

  • Prepares HR reporting as required (monthly, quarterly, ad-hoc, etc.), updates org charts;

  • Maintain personnel files (electronic and hardcopy).

  • Executes and issues the employee life cycle related documents and policies from hire to exit.

  • Administer and execute local employee benefits contacts with relevant companies ensuring contract set-ups/renewals with relevant stakeholders and any payroll interface required.

  • Responsible for the coordination of the end to end recruitment process of new hires

  • Ensures the new hires onboarding process is fulfilled aligned with country requirements.

  • Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on employee relations issues.

  • Coordinate and execute various HR training programs (eg. OH&S, Global L&D Initiatives)

  • Participates in the projects of the HR Department in the field of on boarding, talent management, HR communication, engagement and well- being.

  • Participates in audits for HR related topics and responsibilities.

  • Continually look for process and business partnering improvements within the HR department and provide ad hoc HR support.

Employer requirements

  • Tertiary qualified, preferably with a HR certification

  • Experience in an equal position for at least 3 years

  • Experience and sound working knowledge of: HRIS and/or LMS (Learning Management Systems) applications and data quality management for the organization, Payroll administration with a 3rd party vendor including electronic leave management systems, Country employment/labour legislation, Policy and employment documentation development and review, Records management rules.

  • English B2 – written & spoken
