Your responsibilities

  • Sets high standards and committed to continuous improvement

  • Possess knowledge of project management principles and ability to use it in practice in HR operational work
  • Work with data, info and reports daily - analyze large quantities of information from research, practice and internal systems. Able to document findings/results, present the solutions and verify if the problem/issue has been solved
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee data and hold team accountable for the same
  • Ability to lead, motivate and retain a team who speaks different languages supporting various countries across a region
  • Participate in and regularly lead in country specific or regional projects providing process/country specific knowledge as valuable input for the initiative
  • Maintain and provide analytics to various stakeholders
  • Preferably good understanding and basic knowledge of multiple labor legislation systems
  • See and understand the ‘holistic picture’ and recognize and understand any impacts to system landscape
  • Sharing your in-depth knowledge with colleagues and internal clients in order to broaden awareness of HR processes
  • Analyses trends and defines further improvement areas
  • Accountable to deploy, measure, track, ensure compliance and report standard Service Levels (SLAs) and quality audits, RCA, key process and operational metrics (KPIs) including high customer service expectations for associates
  • Deploy training programs for on boarding new employees and maintaining required certifications, based on Global Standard training programs, and incorporating Alcon specifics requirements, where applicable
  • Ensure proactive monitoring and regularly delivery of reports to the leadership on the progress
  • Focusing on identification, selection, and retention of world-class talent to ensure a dynamic pipeline of talent
  • Identifies and manages process improvements, system enhancements needed to support the successful design, development and implementation of HR plans, programs, processes, and new tools to drive greater effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Manage employee performance using established company tools/methodology and set an example for team members
  • Leads, supports and coaches the team in the delivery of the current scope, deployment and adoption of any new system or technology, manages priorities, ensures activities are handled effectively by modifying plans and actions in own areas of accountability

Our requirements

  • Experience in managing multinational/multilingual teams in a dynamic organization
  • 2+ years leading an HR Team
  • Experience in supporting HR Systems, Payroll, Timekeeping & general HR Processes will be an additional asset
  • Fair understanding on end-to-end hire to retire process, including payroll part in order to ensure successful delivery and proper employee & manager experience
  • Experience using Six Sigma or other CI methodology will be an additional asset
  • Preferably 2+ years of experience with Workday (or 1 year Workday and minimum 1 year in another HR System, or 2 years in another HR system)
  • 1+ years of experience with ServiceNow
  • 2+ years in HR Shared Services
  • Preferably 1+ years supporting HRIS System/Record Management
  • Preferably 1+ years actively using Six Sigma or other CI methodologies
  • Preferably experience in supporting countries in regional (EMEA) area, including in depth knowledge of local labor law and regulatory statutes
  • Advanced experience using MS office suite (special focus on word, PowerPoint & excel)
  • Bachelor Degree
