Monitor, inspect, and ensure compliance of HSE regulations and encourage safe work practices;
Ensure the Company meets any compliance standards or regulations in accord with local, state, and/or Customer specific requirements;
Report, document, communicate, and correct hazards immediately, or in a timely manner as necessitated by the situation;
Conduct and document onsite field audits to assess the safety of sites, including conditions, employees, and equipment, located at worksites and/or shop locations;
Provide direction, counseling, and coaching for field and shop employees regarding safe work practices and habits, including conducting or facilitating training classes for required safety specific training and the subsequent documentation;
Monitor, document, and offer feedback on individual employee competencies as they relate to the HSE programs to ensure employees receive any necessary direction, counseling, or training in the safe performance of their work;
Monitor, maintain, and update Company profile, qualifications, and training on contractor qualification websites;
Act as a point of contact and decision-maker in the emergency response process and ensure communication among applicable Company representatives;
Facilitate medical treatment and drug screening for work-related incidents, to include use of discretion when handling confidential information that might be a part of the process;
Coordinate between managers, supervisors, HR, and the employee any applicable modified duty or return to work plans;
Execute and document the incident investigation processes, including identification of causal factors and make recommendations for corrective actions to the management team;
Assess, identify, develop, and implement new and revised safety and operational policies, procedures and training as needs become apparent;
High-school Diploma, GED or equivalent technical experience;
English speak, read and understand, with bi-lingual (German) preferred;
10+ years of progressive HSE experience/career, preferably in construction and/or Oil & Gas industry;
Proven competency in execution of an HSE program, including meeting regulatory requirements;
Subject-matter expertise of safety-specific regulatory requirements, including those of Dept. of Labor, and other European, state, and local governing authorities;
Safety specific qualifications, certifications, and/or training designations are preferred;
Documentation of work history;
Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills;
Proficiency using computers and other electronic means of communication;
Willingness and ability to travel where and when required in performance of job functions;
Knowledge of English is a must, a second foreign language is a plus;

For one of our Project in Europe, Pipeline Division, we look for a HSE Manager to support our Team in North West Poland, with at least 10 years proven experience in Major Infrastructure/Big Buildings and, preferably, in Oil & Gas Constructions Industries.
The position will be responsible to administer and execute on the operation of the Company Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) program.
You will work at our site facilities in Prusinowo (72-300 PL) in a multi-cultural environment, with people coming from all over the World;
Have the physical ability to walk at least one km in rugged, sloped terrain and lift weight unassisted.
Have the physical ability to reach, bend, squat, climb, stand, and sit in both hot and cold environments.
Must have the ability to wear the required PPE.
Think clearly and make sound decisions in a loud, congested environment, with multiple moving hazards.
Must be on-call 24/7 and available for rapid response during critical operations.
