Human Capital Specialist
Location: Warsaw
This is an exciting time to join the Consulting Expert Program EMEA & APAC team in the role of Human Capital Specialist.  This person is responsible for supporting all aspects of our Expert talent lifecycle. As we are in a growth period for our program, we are looking for a team member to help run the daily operations of our program, while also helping us identify and operationalize best practices. This role is critical to keeping our Experts, their affiliated practice or capability areas, and local offices engaged in the overall expert talent management processes and programs and in positioning our Experts for success in their roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our talent management program, including but not limited to:
     - Onboarding: Work with local office to confirm set-up once an offer is accepted and make sure the Expert is day 1 ready. Support building onboarding plan with practice/capability leads
    - Review and feedback management: Manage and track process to gather ongoing feedback on Experts’ development during case allocations, upward feedback and bi-annual reviews. Also handle the process for specifically timed feedback related to compensation planning and promotion windows
    - Staffing and utilization: Manage and track the process for collecting allocation data. Update staffing system and dashboards with changes in staffing allocations and billings for Experts. Assist in taking Expert staffing approach to next level
    - Compensation review: Support global Expert Program team to track and review compensation at key points in talent lifecycle (annual reviews, promotion windows). Orchestrate compensation process across Expert Program team, global Compensation team and local offices
    - Training: Manage and track global and local training participation to ensure adequate opportunities for Experts to engage in training sessions
  • Establish, manage and maintain our shared filing system including all relevant documents. Update and maintain relevant trackers and distribution lists
  • Provide the highest levels of service to our Experts, Practice & Capability Area Leaders, and our Global Human Capital team
  • Work with appropriate HR team members across EMEA and APAC to ensure processes are run effectively and expert information related to onboarding, training, staffing, reviews, compensation, and PD flow seamlessly and are up to date at any time in Bain’s HR systems

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of HR experience in a professional services firm is required
  • Experience organizing and executing performance review and compensation cycles and a knack for guiding others to stay on-track of multiple timelines and processes
  • Experience working with HR systems to onboard new hires, input compensation changes, monitor review process milestones, track allocations/staffing, and process personal and professional changes in employee status
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, including ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports
  • Excellent organization and customer service skills combined with ability to work with limited supervision
  • Outstanding interpersonal and strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information in a professional manner
