Your responsibilities
An outstanding opportunity to join us in this role that will support the London based Credit Risk Management team in the day-to-day management of credit risks arising from the portfolio. You will manage the core responsibilities which include:
* Monitoring of portfolio’s risk exposure expressed in industry-wide risk metrics including Potential Exposure, Stress Scenarios, sensitivities, notional etc.
* Limit management and re-allocations with respect to specific metrics.
* Managing and monitoring of fund’s performance and raising concerns to Credit Officers.
* Daily monitoring of client margin calls including engagement with collateral management and raising issues to Credit Officers.
* Production of bespoke risk information for Credit Officers to facilitate proactive risk monitoring of clients and trading portfolios.
* Writing of fund’s annual reviews, which will involve evaluation of constitutional documentation, participation in due diligence calls, credit ratings assignment and determination of credit risk appetite.
* Administration of fund’s documentation based on industry standards (ISDA, PBA, GMRA etc.). Population of credit risk clauses and terms into legal database and check of credit terms against executed documentation prior to trading.
* Provision of general management and administration support including control and remediation of exceptions alerted by internal risk systems.
* Participation in global risk meetings and discussions as needed.

The Hedge Fund, Fund Financing and Repack team within Credit Risk Management (CRM) is responsible for managing, approving, monitoring and controlling all credit risks arising from relationships with European based Hedge Funds, Family Offices, Fund of Hedge Funds, Private Equity as well as assessing structures relates to CS repack note issuance programmes. Our requirements
No prior work hedge fund related experience is required; however, candidates should have a sound knowledge of financial industry and interest in the financial markets and meet the academic requirements listed below.
* University Degree: Preferably, in a Banking or Finance related field.
* Proficiency in Excel.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in English.
* Result oriented, hardworking individual with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Proven ability to manage work effectively under pressure.
* Outstanding problem solving skills along with good attention to details.
