The purpose of the role is to provide independent and objective assessment of the design and operating effectiveness control environment, in accordance with Zurich ICFR Policy and focus on the company’s Key Controls in the ITGC. To be responsible for allocated testing for the system components, processes, data and/or information technology environment.
Execute ITGC Control Design and Operational Effectiveness Testing.
Support the ITGC Testing Team in ad-hoc tasks and projects.
Interact with customer on ongoing basis as part of the testing activities.
Manage testing of sensitive ITGC controls with highly confidential evidence (e.g. indirect entity level controls such as Board and Management Committees) provided by the units.
Where necessary create new test plans/scripts and identify improvement opportunities. Validate existing scripts and ensure fit for purpose.
Establish and maintain service receiver and local stakeholder relationships specifically within the technology and operations functions.
Report on the test completion and share any issues identified.
Participate in walk-through meetings and interact with customers as per need.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in IT/Computer Science/Technology or Business Administration/Economy (with further exposure in IT environment/Compliance/Audit)
For Specialist role at least 1 year of relevant experience in the areas of Information Technology, IT General Controls/Information System Audit/IT Risk/IT Compliance/SOX controls environment
Availability to travel of around 10% (after Covid-19)
