Who you are:

  • have a minimum 2-3 years managerial experience in ​​logistics, goods flow or supply chain (or in a high-bay warehouse with a rapidly rotating volume of products - welcome),
  • have strong leadership skills and experience in leading and developing teams in the retail / commercial or logistics area,
  • passionate about leading business through people and having a strong belief in the individual’s potential,
  • have knowledge of the customer and co-worker needs, demands and expectations on the market,
  • have knowledge of logistic processes, supply chain, warehousing operations and service business leading to an excellent customer fulfilment,
  • have experience in set and implement action plans, budgets, costs and key performance indicators (KPI) and the ability to use them for planning, follow up and steer the business with a customer centric approach,
  • can find yourself in a dynamic work environment and have strong analytical and communication skills,
  • can cooperate with many functions, Market & Country level and in a diverse team to ensure the highest quality of processes,
  • can fluently communicate in spoken and written Polish and English,
  • have the knowledge about the strategic landscape and IKEA ways of working as well as broad business understanding – nice to have,
  • have experience in optimizing processes (e.g. LEAN process) - nice to have.

About the job:


You will lead, steer, plan, support, coach and follow up the fulfilment operations and development of the whole IKEA Gdansk Market with customer centric and collaborative approach in focus, and partnership mentality.


Your responsibilities:
 

  • securing high performing operations and an efficient distribution network from Store operational planning, fulfilment and execution in all touchpoints for the lowest possible cost in a multichannel environment and with a focus on quality and a customer-centric, collaborative mindset,
  • using strategic directions and business plan goals to develop and implement a clear fulfilment/logistic plan for your store & Market with your logistics team (you ensure this plan is clearly understood by your team and that they know how they can actively contribute to achieving its goals),
  • sharing your specialist know-how with your commercial team partners and other functions in order to secure an exciting and inspiring customer shopping experience,
  • ensuring that daily tasks are carried out with the customer satisfaction in mind by keeping an overview of the daily business operation in the warehouse and monitoring compliance with all internal and external safety regulations,
  • leading, coaching and developing IKEA Gdansk people and organization to secure an inspiring and motivating,
  • securing high performance and financial business performance within the IKEA Gdańsk market: secure cost consciousness and efficiency increase to ensure great customer experience.
