For our Client (medical sector) we are looking for Independent Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• supervise process and operational issues in Polish entities and report issues (process or system related) to Chief Accountant
• proactively suggest recommendations and ideas to deliver continuous process improvement, focus on capacity savings areas
• coordinate with Polish finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines and with good quality
• review & approve journal entries
• ensure that Polish entities abides with the set of laws implemented by the state related to taxes and handing financial transactions, monitoring of changes in tax law, propose tax optimizations, implement necessary system changes
• evaluate accounting ERP systems and provide recommendations to IT team for performance improvements and compliance
• coordinate monthly, quarterly and year-end closing process, ensure accurate and timely reporting
• prepare VAT and VAT UE and CIT, support preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation and MDR Reporting (DAC-6)
• prepare statutory financial statements
• cooperate with Finance Manager and Auditors
• assist in monitoring expenditures & revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management
