Your responsibilities

  • Managing a team of 7 Indirect Buyers responsible for operational and strategic purchases for Europe and supporting them in their day to day tasks;

  • Supporting and engaging with stakeholders in order to understand and meet their procurement needs and strategy as well as educate them on procurement processes and guidelines;

  • Developing and maintaining cost effective, service oriented and quality focused supplier relationships in accordance with company objectives and industry best practices;

  • Developing and implementing functional supplier performance indicators, supplier negotiations and ongoing administration tasks;

  • Participate and driving cross-functional initiatives within Indirect procurement.

Employer requirements

  • Very good German skills (min. B2);

  • Very good English skills (min. B2);

  • Knowledge of Indirect Procurement;

  • First experience in team or project management;

  • Relevant experience in a large purchasing function, managing suppliers in an international business;

  • University degree in business administration, sourcing, supply chain management, finance or comparable qualification;

  • Focus on customer service, taking ownership and have an entrepreneurial driven mindset;

  • Ability to work in fast-paced organization with exposure to innovative and new approaches to procurement.
