Description

• preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns including VAT UE,CIT
• reporting to the authorities (GUS), in accordance with regulations; ensure supporting documentation is complete for tax purposes; ensure data archiving is in line with regulations
• solving any issues linked to pending booking entries and all unmatched supplier/customer
• entering documents in the books of account (purchase invoices, bank statements, internal documents, etc.
• keeping cash-register records and cash supervision
• execution of bank transfers in the online banking system
• main point of contact with Shared Services Center in the area of expenses
• solving any issues linked to pending booking entries and all unmatched supplier/customer
• reconciling balance sheet ledgers to sub-ledgers on AP/AR/GL and clearing account

Profile

• Master's degree (Accounting or Finance)
• 3-5 years of independent, practical experience in accounting and tax legislation (VAT/PIT/The Accounting Act.)
• good command of English (spoken and written) - to be verified with native speaker
• deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• knowledge of Symfonia FK and Handel - would be an asset
• good understanding of VAT and CIT and statistical reporting requirements
• ability to work within tight operational deadlines and priorities
