Your responsibilities
The Bunge Traineeship Program is Bunge’s 18 month program, designed for recently graduated professionals who are ready to kickstart their career. Program Overview:
Through “hands-on” experience and unique rotational learning opportunities in our industrial facilities, you will learn about the different aspects of our operations, understand our business and gain technical skills in Bunge’s production processes, projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Upon successful completion of the program, you will continue your career at Bunge in a full time position that suits best with your career aspirations (Crush Supervisor, Refined Oil Supervisor, Process Engineer, Maintenance Manager, Continuous Improvement Engineer, etc.).
Assignment areas
Plant Onboarding | Utility Department Hands-on | Final Project and Business trip(s) to other plants
Core Functions:
• Trainees will participate fully in the day-to-day physical operation of a Bunge facility to understand fundamental operations and processes.
• Develop a thorough understanding of operational processes.
• Trainees will learn how to ensure reliability and trouble-free operation of all control systems for technological lines, machines and power devices of production and auxiliary departments.
• Trainees will, from time to time, demonstrate their level of understanding by responding to verbal or written inquiries from supervisors, mentors, or the program manager.
• Trainees will participate in maintenance and service of automation systems in our plant.
• Trainees may for a period of time be required to travel to other Bunge locations for instructional purposes.
• Assist to Energy Manager with projects, drawing reviews, equipment specifications, operational narrative preparations, employee training, commissioning a start-up.
Our requirements
A recently completed education at Bachelor or Master level in the field you’re applying to, such as Automation, Electrical Engineering.
You’re adaptable to change and passionate about continuous improvement.
A strong motivation to learn, grow and develop as a team and individually.
Excellent English and Polish language skills. Other languages are a benefit.
Up to 2 years previous work experience and international exposure (through travels, study-abroad, etc.) is seen as an advantage.
Basic knowledge of PLC programming and proficiency in MS Office.
Knowledge of measurement methodology, control and measurement equipment.
Technical knowledge regarding the design and operation of power equipment (electricity, heat).
Strong motivation to learn, grow and develop.

What does the selection process look like?

After we’ve selected your application, one of our recruiters calls you for a first introduction.
You interview (via teams or live) with your future manager and potentially another future colleague.
We provide you with a case to prepare individually and present your outcome to the final selection committee. In parallel, you complete a Predictive Index behavioral test.
When you are selected you will be presented with an offer to join our program starting early September 2023.
